The hotel is situated in an excellent part of Istanbul the old town. It is very close to a lot of major attractions and the hop on hop off bus will take you to all the other sights. Not to be missed is the Dolmabahce Palace which is marvelously decorated and a sight to behold.
Hotel is located walking distance to most main attractions, restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and tram station. Location was excellent. Very nice clean rooms. We got an upgrade to the room on top floor with the best views. Breakfast buffet needs improvement, but there is a great restaurant at the end of the block to right of the hotel, on the opposite side on the corner, called "Kösk", they have the best food and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall, loved the hotel. Would def. stay there again!
Nice boutique style hotel, staff were very friendly & accommodating, got a free upgrade to an exec room. Breakfast was good, staff were eager to get you whatever you wanted ie omelette or fried eggs etc didn't use the sauna etc, was quiet & no one there. It's a 5 min walk to the blue mosque & Hagia Sophia & tram stop. Was down a lively ish road with bars & restaurants. No complaints about the hotel.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Super friendly staff, gave a full intro at time of check in including a very handy Istanbul map with all tourist locations. The rooms are quite small, with no actual hotel lobby. But this is due to its central location, and the smaller size does not mean they don't have all the facilities, they do! Buffet breakfast, free wifi, Jacuzzi bath, spa facilities, you name it! PROS - 5 minutes from blue mosque, great value for money, friendly staff (they even warn you of taxi drivers trying to rip you off!), clean rooms, comfy bed, two free daily water bottles, locker, large tv, air con, nice selection of restaurants outside. CONS - bedroom walls are thin though not much of an issue as I was not bothered, buffet breakfast had only 3 hot items (I expected more).
We loved this hotel for our stay in Istanbul. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was great. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the showers were fantastic. I'm happy with the 5 days we spent there and we will return there for any future holidays in Istanbul.
Pros: Has all facilities for relaxing so no need to go further afield for sauna, steam room or gym. Friendly staff and main sights within walking distance. Cons: not that I can think of other than the noise from local eatery seesha place which played loud music till late so daughter couldn't sleep some nights Location: location is ideal for shoppers, sea view and sight seeing well where do I start but WOW, from start to finish we had a warm welcome and the staff couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable what with having a 2 year old child. We were advised of the local places to visit during our stay and places to shop which were all within walking distance which was a bonus. Breakfast was lovely and enough variety for all. Will definitely come again soon. Thanks to all the staff for giving us such a lovely, enjoyable holiday xx
